On June 14, GSIS students headed out to Nami Island for a refreshing break from their academic routines. With clear skies and warm sunshine, the timing couldn’t have been better. After a short ferry ride, students arrived on the island and were welcomed by peaceful scenery and lively animals — including peacocks, geese, ostriches, and curious squirrels. They strolled through tree-lined paths, admired traditional hanok houses, and relaxed by quiet ponds. Some rented bikes and explored the island at their own pace, while others enjoyed trying out local food and snacks. It was a day of discovery, good company, and fresh air — a much-needed escape that brought the GSIS community even closer together.

FAREWELL PARTY - MAY 30TH, 2025NUBI AJOU held a closing ceremony for the semester, the Buddy Farewell Party, at a pub near the campus. On behalf of the completion of the 35th NUBI AJOU (spring semester 2025), the Foreign Exchange Team and International Cooperation arranged this event to wrap up the activities done so far and to bring together Korean and international students. The Buddy Farewell Party, called Buddy FP, is held regularly as the last event of the semester. Some group games are prepared, and participants can talk while enjoying delicious Korean chicken and beer (and some ramyun and rice soup for the vegan member). As with the previous Buddy FP slogan, “Farewell, but never goodbye,” the slogan for this event was “One Last Table, Full of Memories.” Buddy FP itself was meaningful, as it marked the end of the 35th NUBI and the start of the 36th NUBI after the summer break.
